Brea (Lynch) Darnell '01 and her husband, Tommy proudly announce the birth of their son, Luke Jackson Darnell.  Born January 4, 2009, at 11:37 pm, Luke weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz and measured 20 inches in length!

Daphne Brookins '01 was awarded the Mayor Mike Moncrief "Believing in Youth Award." Brookins was unanimously chosen for all criteria’s and categories for her work and support that she has done for the youth throughout Tarrant County. (03/11/2009)

Jill Worthington '95 married Michael Antonishak on October 8, 2008 at a Chester, VT B&B. Jill is a senior business analyst at GUARD Insurance Group in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. (07/20/2009)

Bob Mills '95 and his wife, Heather welcomed their son Cooper Dale Mills into the world on March 25th, 2009 @ 8:18 a.m.

Leslie Storey '89 was elected to serve as a trustee for the Alpha Xi Delta Foundation for the 2009-2013 term.(Spring 09)

Benjamin Jacks '80 will receive his Doctor of Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary on May 9, 2009.

Mary Word Chandler BA '72 and Jerry Chandler BBA '71 celebrated 40 years of marriage on August 9, 2009!! Mary, a retired teacher, is now the Activities Director for Grace House at Lake Travis and Jerry is a licensed Professional Real Estate Inspector in Austin. (08/18/09)

Cheryl (Wolfe) Roberts '69 an assistant English professor at Tarrant County College Northwest, has been named dean of humanities for TCC’s new Trinity River Campus. (07/13/2009)

Jeremy Walker '64 was inducted into the International Brotherhood of Magicians' prestigious "Order of Merlin" at the national convention in Louisville, KY. (Spring 09)
