OLATHE, Kan. - The Texas
Wesleyan golf team shot a third-round 287 to move hold onto fourth place in the
2005 NAIA National Golf Championship Thursday afternoon at the Prairie Highlands
Golf Course.
Texas Wesleyan (296-293-287-876) shot a one-under
par round today to stay in contention of at least the second slot. They are 13

five of our guys played solid today," Texas Wesleyan head coach Kevin Millikan
said. "After shooting as good as we did, we are still in contention for the
second slot. We just have to keep our momentum going in the right direction."

Rams firing a one-under par today and now sits tied for 37th. Fellow sophomore
Dan Hahn (80-78-71-229) also turned in a brilliant performance, shooting one-under
par and now sits tied for 60th. Junior Reino Deetlefs (72-73-72-217) is tied for
12th and sophomore Scott Sikes (73-69-74-216) is tied for 10th. Senior Justin
Ward (72-75-74-221) turned in another solid round and is tied for 20th. "We
accomplished our goal today," Millikan said. "We just have to keep this
up tomorrow and we will be in good shape." The
