FORT WORTH, TX: Texas Wesleyan University’s head women’s soccer coach Josh Gibbs announced today the signing of Dominique Harrison.
Harrison comes to Texas Wesleyan from Richland College. As a freshman at Richland she led the team with 40 points on 15 goals and 10 assists and earned NJCAA All-American recognition.
Harrison, a native of Round Rock, TX, has also played club soccer for Lonestar 89 in Austin, TX.
"Dominique is a big time goal scorer,” Gibbs said. “She has great pace, great vision, and an unbelievable ability to score important goals. She is very dangerous in the final third, and has proven she can score goals at the college level. Dominique is a game changer, plain and simple. She is exactly what we need up top to regain the conference championship".
The Lady Rams who have won two of the last three Red River Athletic Conference championships, finished at 8-7-3 this season. They featured six All-Conference players including three seniors.
