BETHANY, OK: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team improved to 11-8 with a win over Southern Nazarene University on Tuesday. The Lady Rams topped the Crimson Storm with scores of 30-21, 30-15, 23-30, and 30-17.
Sandra Ayala, Liz Meng, and Evoni Darling each had double-doubles in the contest. Ayala finished with 13 kills and 19 digs. Meng had 17 kills and 16 digs. Darling posted 47 assists to go with 26 digs.
Ashley Mock turned in 22 digs. Erinn Miller had 10 digs and nine kills, and Kristen Venhuizen notched 10 kills. The Rams return home on Friday, when they host Bacone College in Red River Athletic Conference action. That match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start.
