WAXAHACHIE, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (3-20, 1-1 RRAC) suffered a 3-0 loss at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (10-9, 2-0).
The Rams appeared to be in control of game one, but the Lions cut the margin to one at 13-12 and took their first lead at 22-21 on their way to a 25-22 win. A 25-16 SAGU win in game two took the wind out of the Rams who fell in game three 25-11.
The win gave SAGU the lead in the RRAC North Division at 2-0, while the Lady Rams fell to 1-1 in conference play.
Texas Wesleyan will return to action on Friday, October 10, when they travel to Muskogee, OK, to take on Bacone College in RRAC action. That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. |
