Credit:  The workshop offers a total of 6 credits of graduate level credit in natural science which can be applied toward a Master’s Degree in Education.

Cost: All expenses are covered by the grant support.  Teaching materials for labs are provided.

Stipend: The grant provides a $300 summer stipend and provides travel and per diem support.  An additional $300 stipend is provided by the Fort Worth ISD for completing the entire course.  Course materials and equipment for teacher’s classrooms are provided and optional travel to the Mexican Butterfly overwintering site is also available for 5-10 students who will then help develop curriculum.
