This class introduces the basics of searching the Internet for instructional resources and other professional support sites. In addition to concepts and techniques, a variety of useful resources to address a number of professional needs will be identified and reviewed. |

This course introduces technical terminology and concepts and provides tips on how to effectively use the information resources available at Texas Wesleyan. |

Website Development and Maintenance through Contribute |
Tuesday, March 18 2 to 3 p.m. |
This course introduces individuals charged with website maintenance to the concepts, terminology, and tools needed to manage departmental websites. |

Teaching with Technology |

Following a constructivist perspective, this class addresses a number of issues in teaching and learning with technology including some approaches to using technology in the classroom. |

Graphics II |

This is a step above the basics covered in the first graphics workshop. This intermediate level will focus on ways to capture and build graphic imagery and photo editing. |

Searching and Researching |

Tools used in research are evolving, changing, and stretching to meet the needs of their users. Our library alone has over 100 databases and online tools for verifiable research. This course is intended to refine skills professors need for detailed academic research, to learn a few tricks, and to discover our newest research tools available at Texas Wesleyan. |
