Texas Wesleyan has been awarded the maximum number of years allowed for initially accredited programs, so our next self-study and site-visit are not scheduled until the 2011-2012 academic year. ACBSP Accreditation Site Visit

Painting by Mary Apple of a woman in a chairThe Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accreditation site visit team is visiting the School of Business this week as part of the School's application for accreditation. Kit Hall, associate professor of art, installed a professional art exhibition in the conference room. The small exhibit, "Selections from the Wesleyan Permanent Collection," was curated by students in the Practices of the Arts, Jr./Sr. Seminar.  The seven students involved (Heidi Calvert, Louis Clark, Kelly Henry, Cristin Martin, Amanda Winkelman, and Zainah Usman) collaboratively analyzed the client (School of Business) and their exhibition space, collected art works appropriate for the client, spotted the work in consultation with Hector Quintanilla, interim dean of the School of Business, and Sameer Vaidya, interim associate dean, then installed the art works. This small exhibit of selections from the Wesleyan Permanent Collection includes works by Professor Emeritus Mary Apple.
