Wesleyan Chorale Begins August 27

Alumni Star in Production of "The Phantom of the Country Opera"
Performances are at 7 p.m. Aug. 9-11 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at Meadowbrook United Methodist Church. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and can be reserved by calling the church office at (817) 531-1741. The church is located at 3900 Meadowbrook Drive in Fort Worth. |

Discount tickets are available through Student Life for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Fort Worth Convention Center. To get the tickets, you must sign up through Student Life by Friday, Aug. 10. Email Jenny Houze at 
Help students start the year off right by donating school supplies to local students in need. Bring your donations to the Office of Student Life by Thursday, Aug. 23. The Wesleyan Chorale begins its fourth year on Monday, Aug. 27. Rehearsals will be held from 5:45 to 7 p.m. in Martin Hall. The chorale's first performance will be Mozart's Grand Mass In C Minor, scheduled for Nov. 13. All members of the Wesleyan community are invited to join the chorale, which is an ensemble comprised of music students, alumni, faculty and staff, and is intended to give a University community experience for all those interested in singing quality choral music. Anyone who's interested in joining is invited to email director 
Several alumni, and one current student, will be starring in "The Phantom of the Country Opera", put on by The Meadowbrook Players of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church.
