Master of Education (M.Ed.)
This 36-credit hour graduate program is designed for classroom teachers who wish to pursue a degree which focuses on developing advanced skills in teaching, as well as enriching knowledge in selected content areas. The program is designed to enhance the candidate's appreciation of the art and science of teaching and the ability to understand and critically evaluate education theory and practice.

Concentration areas in the M.Ed. program are:

• Administration
• Bilingual Education
• Elementary Science
• English as a Second Language
• Reading
• Non-Public School Leadership

Concentration areas require from 12 to 24 hours.
Four courses (12 hours) comprise the core:
