Personal:

I am currently teaching full time at Texas Wesleyan University in the Education department & part time for the University of Phoenix Online. I received my B.S. in Education from Indiana University, completed my Masters of Science degree in Educational Technology from Texas A & M University in Commerce and also my Doctorate in Education majoring in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction and minoring in Principalship.

My teaching experience has included 10 years in a classroom setting. My experience has been in the Waco, TX area and in the Dallas area. I have taught K, 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and coached Junior High basketball (girls & boys). After leaving the classroom, I spent a year as a campus Technology Curriculum Coordinator before coming to Richardson as a Master Teacher in the Teacher Leadership department. I spent 4 years as a Master Teacher before choosing to move on to the college level full time.

To tell you just a little bit about myself: I am a Texan through and through. I was born and raised in Texas. I left for a few short years at the end of the 80s, but quickly came to my senses and returned home. My husband and I were married on the 4th of July in 1996, and renewed our vows in Riviera Maya, Mexico on our 10th anniversary. We like to jetski, sail, and watch hockey (Go Stars! & football (Go Cowboys!)).
