Personal:

I am currently teaching full time at Texas Wesleyan University in the Education department & part time for the University of Phoenix Online. I received my B.S. in Education from Indiana University, completed my Masters of Science degree in Educational Technology from Texas A & M University in Commerce and also my Doctorate in Education majoring in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction and minoring in Principalship.

My teaching experience has included 10 years in a classroom setting. My experience has been in the Waco, TX area and in the Dallas area. I have taught K, 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and coached Junior High basketball (girls & boys). After leaving the classroom, I spent a year as a campus Technology Curriculum Coordinator before coming to Richardson as a Master Teacher in the Teacher Leadership department. I spent 4 years as a Master Teacher before choosing to move on to the college level full time.

To tell you just a little bit about myself: I am a Texan through and through. I was born and raised in Texas. I left for a few short years at the end of the 80s, but quickly came to my senses and returned home. My husband and I were married on the 4th of July 10 years ago, and just renewed our vows in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We like to jetski, sail, & watch hockey (Go Stars!).
