How do I apply for undergraduate admission to Texas Wesleyan University?
What is the deadline for applications?
There is no application deadline. However, we encourage applicants to submit all documents by June 1 for fall semester and by October 15 for spring semester to ensure sufficient time for review of the application and to apply for a student visa. If your application is not received in time to process it for the desired semester, we will roll your application over to the next available entry period.

How much will it cost to attend Texas Wesleyan?
You must be prepared to finance your study with no financial help from the University. Expenditures for one calendar year are estimated at $25,185. Tuition, fees and initial housing expenses are due at the beginning of each semester. Therefore, it is necessary for you to have at least $10,000 available upon your arrival.
How do I apply for scholarships or financial aid?
Undergraduate students may be considered for Texas Wesleyan University international scholarships ranging from $2,000 - $7,000 depending on entrance status and eligibility (which is based on grades and extra-curricular activities). These are competitive scholarships and are available only to highly qualified candidates. A graduate student may apply for a scholarship directly with the department in which he or she intends to study.
International students are not eligible for U.S. federal student financial aid programs. We encourage students to seek information about educational funding from their home governments, through private or public international agencies and organizations, or through the Public Affairs office at a U.S. consulate/embassy. It is solely the responsibility of the student to secure funding.
How do I prove that I have sufficient funds to attend Texas Wesleyan University?
You should complete the “Evidence of Funding” form and submit letters or documents of support from the individuals or agencies providing the funding. Please follow the instructions carefully.
Must I provide original transcripts or can I send copies?
Official copies of all academic records are required. If the original is available but would be difficult to replace, a certified copy from the issuing institution may be submitted. To be official, this copy must bear the original stamp or seal and signature of a school officer from the original issuing institution or examining board. The seal, stamp and signature must be placed on the copy after photocopying. Copies certified by a consulate, embassy, military, notary public or other parties are not acceptable. If the original language of the record is not English, a certified English translation must be attached.
Do you provide housing?
The university offers 3 residence halls on campus, or students may choose to live off campus. You are responsible for arranging your own housing. We highly recommend living on campus – especially for the first year, and we can assist you with this process. Please note that on-campus housing requires a 10-month contract from August through May. If you live on campus, you must also purchase a meal plan. If you choose to live off-campus, the university does not assist you in locating an apartment and you must find your own transportation.
From what other countries do you have students?
There are around 45 international students from over 30 nations currently attending Texas Wesleyan University. Our international students contribute to the vibrant diversity of our student body and join students from every ethnic group in the United States. There is an International Club which provides a home away from home for Wesleyan students from overseas.
Where is the university located?
Texas Wesleyan is located in an older residential neighborhood within an easy, short bus ride from downtown Fort Worth. Fort Worth is an exciting but very livable city. It hosts a large variety of entertainment and cultural venues. The city as well as the campus are friendly and welcoming to internationals.
