Joseph Davisson  has appeared as a soloist with Casa Manana, St. Louis Symphony, St. Louis Bach Society, Austin Civic Chorus, Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, Plano Civic Chorus and Boston’s Masterwork Chorale, and has sung many operatic roles with Regal Opera.  His solo performances have included Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Poulenc’s Mass in G, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Mass in C minor, Bach’s Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s  The Creation, Schcubert’s Mass in G and Mendelssohn’s Elijah.

Mr. Davisson was an apprentice artist with the Des Moines Metro Opera and with the TCU-Fort Worth Opera Institute sang the role of Leon in Signor Deluso with composer Thomas Pasatieri in attendance.

  He holds a bachelor of music from St. Louis Conservatory of Music and a master of music from the New England Conservatory of Music.  He is currently  an adjunct voice instructor at Texas Wesleyan University and teaches private  voice in Keller ISD.  This season he will be performing Mozart’s Requiem with the Plano Civic Chorus and Plano Symphony Orchestra on October 29th and the Messiah at Arlington Heights Methodist Church on December 11th.
