Students usually bring more than they really need so we have included a list of items to bring with you to college. Please pack in reasonable quantities. Many students end up sending things back home. If you don’t see something on the list that you have questions about or have suggestions of other things, please email us (housing@txwes.edu).
You should also know that the university assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. We strongly encourage you to have insurance coverage before you beg
in residency. Many times, this is an extension of a homeowner's policy, renter's insurance, or insurance specifically for college students. Many vendors offer low cost insurance specifically directed to the college environment.

In Stella and Elizabeth Halls, items with heating elements are not permitted (toasters, broilers, skillets, hot plates, hamburger grills, electric woks, rice cookers)
