2006 is off to a great start!!  Reported incidents are down almost 74% the first quarter of 2006 compared to the same period in 2005.

As I have stated at numerous forums and meetings, vehicle burglaries are the biggest problem that we encounter due to the large number of vehicles parked on campus and the number of high dollar items (radios, laptops, etc.) being left in vehicles and in the view of passersby. There were only 5 vehicles burglaries during the first quarter of 2006 compared to 19 during the same period in 2005. Let's keep the numbers going lower!!!
