International Week

October 13-17, 2008

School of Business hosted a brunch hour on Tuesday, Oct. 14th with special items brought in and talked about by our international business student.  Faculty, staff, and students were present to hear the country presentations and play a flag game of "Name That Flag!" 

Some of the countries represented with special items displayed were the following:

Carlos Chiu-Mexico/China; Carlos had created a display of pictures and pins from the 2008 Beijing Olympics and brought a statue from Mexico and the countries flag.  

Winston-China; displayed a shirt

Sandhya Karki-Nepal; displayed pictures, jewelry, trinkets, a book about Nepal describing the traditions, artifacts of importance, and locations in and around the country, in addition to a couple traditional dolls with unique male/female clothing.

Ines Perhoc-Croatia; displayed beautiful pictures of islands and surrounding tourist spots.
