3. SAME SEX MARRIAGE - Should Same Sex marriage be legalized? Why or why not?
Same Sex Marriage- I am for Same Sex Marriage, I am a gay male and think we all deserve the right to be married to the one we love. People say it would ruin the holy union of marriage. There are plenty of others doing that without our help. I want to be able to be in the ER with my partner and share all the benefits of being married, be it good or bad, but its being able to experience it without worrying do I get to be there till the end with him or will we be seperated by our families when we get to old to care for each other.

Same sex marriage should not be allowed I don't think it would be good for society in particular children. This country was built on the fundamental belief in God and Country.

I do not believe same sex marriage should be legalized. I believe Gays should have the same civil rights as heterosexual, but I do not believe they should be married. I believe that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

I have yet to have anyone tell me why this would hurt traditional marriage. This seems to be what most people say is the problem. In reality, they are just close-minded bigots. Unless, of course, someone has come up with a reason? Of course not.Of all the people who oppose same-sex marriage, I have not heard one good reason why this shouldn’t be allowed. When I ask them, they usually say something about the bible and mention that “Jesus said so.” I’m not sure what your thoughts are on religion, but I think it is absolute lunacy to let religion dictate or even influence social or governmental policy.
Homosexuals in this country are discriminated against as much or more so than women and minorities. The hate that is expressed by the ignorant is truly alarming. The typical macho male seems to be afraid of the gay male. Perhaps this is why we have the term “homophobia.” I think this term accurately describes most of the U.S. heterosexual population.

I believe that it should be possible for homosexual couples to get married if they want to. Why not? Today lots of people marry because of financial reasons, or because of their children and also because they want to show their love to everybody. Why should homosexual couples don't have the rigt to do that? We live in a modern society and I think it's time to give every human being the same rights. Everyone should decide on his own, how he/she wants to live his live and together with whom.
"I think that everybody should be granted the same rights. Anybody should be allowed to marry the person he or she is in love with and no one’s rights should be restricted based on sexual preferences! It makes me mad that people all over the world are still too closed-minded to accept lifestyles that are different from their own. Opponents of same sex marriages should at least be able to justify why they are so against it. To me one question comes to mind: Doesn’t it violate the claims of democracy and freedom to discriminate certain groups of people by restraining them from reaping the benefits of marriage?"
