Student Government

Mission

The mission of the SGA shall be to interact with the administration, faculty, staff, and students on behalf of the Student Body for the benefit of the students and student life on campus.

What is Student Government?

The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the official representative body for students, acting as a liaison between students and administration. Student Government proposes formal resolutions to the administration recommending changes in the operation of the campus. Any student can write a proposal or a petition, but it is to be submitted to the SGA. (Click here for more details.)

Why should I get involved?

The Student Government Association allows a forum for all students to determine their environment. Students address issues

that affect the University, specifically relating to student rights.
